Scottish Badger's training days

The Whitelee Wind Farm Tour
Whitelee Countryside Ranger Rennie Mason took the DESS team out on a tour around Whitelee wind farm. The electric bus took us to a turbine where everyone got an impression of the scale of the wind farm. Then we had a look at different aspects of habitat restoration on the site.
Ayr Gorge Bat Survey Transect
We had a wonderful bat survey at Ayr Gorge SWT reserve with Tom Hastings and Gill Smart leading a survey team ech on a transect around the reserve. Recordings are still being analysed for possible Leisler’s bats…

Rare Bats found at Culzean Country Park
